Despite having strengthened the foreign service and sales networks, the Group has based its production entirely in Italy: a solid network of technical workshops and highly qualified artisan companies produce high-quality components that are then assembled at the headquarters site in Pianoro (Bologna). Over the years, a series of highly qualified and specialised Italian plants have been added to the headquarters, located in Emilia's Packaging Valley, which have allowed the Group to increase its know-how and solutions to be offered to the market.

Research and Development has always been a key element in the growth of the Group, which was able to anticipate the concept of Industry 4.0, focusing immediately on digitisation and innovative solutions such as 3D printing. In addition, Marchesini Group was among the first to integrate robots on its machines with the intention of offering its customers more flexible and even more efficient solutions. The robots in question are designed, manufactured and assembled on-site, as well as the software that manages them.

Thanks to a team of more than 300 technical staff in Italy supported by 50 technical staff worldwide, the Group offers 360-degree after-sales assistance, reaching the customer wherever they are in case of need. With the continuation of the health emergency, Marchesini Group has also strengthened the remote support services it already offered to its customers, eliminating distances and providing an effective response as quickly as possible. Among the services related to Industry 4.0, predictive maintenance is particularly appreciated, allowing the prevention of machine downtime.
